Ministers of Will of God Family Ministries
Pastor Alvin’s greatest joy is serving the Lord. He is a retired educator of 45 years. Having received his bachelor’s degree from Bluefield State College, he pursued and received his master’s degree from the University of D. C. After a fulfilling professional career as a curriculum designer, teacher of music, social studies, and English, Alvin followed his passion in ministry as co-founder of Will of God Family Ministries in Marshall, Texas. He and wife, Glenda, relocated to Marshall and have been following God’s plans for their lives. They have 5 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
Pastor Glenda has been richly blessed since returning to Marshall, her hometown. Retirement after 30 years in education gave her the opportunity to fully implement God’s new direction for her life. Through the years God had prepared her for “such a time as this”. This was God’s appointed time for birthing a ministry with husband, Alvin. Glenda is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake College (bachelor’s degree) and University of Maryland College Park (master’s degree). She has also participated in post graduate studies. Most recently, Glenda was the first woman graduate of the Certificate of Ministry Program at East Texas Baptist University. In addition to serving with her husband, Glenda also enjoys writing inspirational music.
